The cottage was well-equipped and had a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The parking facilities were excellent, accommodating multiple cars. The garden area was a great spot to relax and unwind, offering privacy and tranquility.
The shower screen in the downstairs bathroom was a bit problematic, as it kept swinging out and causing the floor to get wet. This could easily be resolved with a simple rubber seal to hold the screen in place.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cottage. The setting was beautiful and the cottage itself was presented in a lovely and lively way. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed relaxing in the conservatory for breakfast. The beds were incredibly comfortable, providing us with a great night's sleep. One of the best aspects was the location, as it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, allowing for a peaceful and serene getaway. the cottage had high-quality facilities and the communication with the host was excellent. They were quick to resolve any issues that arose during our stay.
While there were very few negatives, we did find that there were not enough plates and mugs to go around, resulting in having to run the dishwasher even when it wasn't full. It would have been nice to have a few extra sets available.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage. The kitchen and living room were perfect, and the beds were comfortable. The surrounding area was calm and peaceful, providing a restful atmosphere. the cottage was well-maintained and clean, offering a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The curtains in the cottage were thin, allowing for some visibility from outside. The shower screen in one of the bathrooms kept swinging out, resulting in a wet floor.

We loved the warm and cozy atmosphere of the cottage. the Christmas decorations added to the charm. the conservatory was a great place to relax and enjoy breakfast. the fireplace created a cozy atmosphere for preparing dinner. And best of all, my tall husband didn't bump his head for the first time in a cottage! the location was ideal for visiting Ashford and Canterbury, with supermarkets nearby. a perfect choice for people who like karaoke and casinos.
Felt totally relaxed, no complaints.

The cottage was in a great location, just a short drive from a designer outlet and supermarkets. the beds were comfortable and the cottage was very clean, with all the necessary facilities provided such as linen, towels, and utensils. the owner also provided detailed instructions on how to find the property and access it, along with a useful information pack inside the cottage. the fully equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, was a bonus.
Some guests mentioned a lack of plugs next to mirrors for getting ready, but this was not a major complaint.

The property was modern and comfortable, very clean and well presented. A good size garden with patio furniture and a bbq to hand, as well as parking area. the property was secluded so we were never disturbed by neighbours or passers by. A well stocked kitchen enabled us to dine in comfort with foods we are used too, however there are plenty of takeaways nearby and restaurants if required. I would book this property again and will be recommending to others who I know would like to stay in this area.
Curtains were thin allowing outsiders to see in. Bathrooms had no curtains/blinds at all.

We couldn't be happier with our stay at Hollyhock Cottage! The value for money was excellent and the room was cozy and well-equipped. The location was perfect, just a 5-minute drive from the M20, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We felt right at home.
The breakfast could have been improved with a wider selection of condiments.
